A delicious fusion of grilled chicken, pineapple, and Swiss cheese in a flavorful sandwich.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce

Bread & Buns

  • 4 buns burger buns

Fruits & Vegetables

  • 4 slices pineapple
  • 0.25 slice Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 red onion red onion, sliced

Condiments

  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise

Oils & Fats

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • to taste salt and pepper salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, grill for 5-6 mins per side, basting with teriyaki sauce.
  • Grill pineapple slices 1-2 mins per side, toast buns 1-2 mins.
  • Spread mayonnaise on buns, assemble with chicken, cheese, pineapple, and onion.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the chicken with additional teriyaki sauce during grilling.
