Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts diced into small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil divided
  • cup shredded carrots
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 cup green onion sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts drained and chopped
  • cup cashews or peanuts roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Kinder's Teriyaki Grilling Glaze Marinade divided

Lettuce leaves

  • as needed Romaine, iceberg, or butter lettuce leaves
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  • Sauté chicken in 1 Tbsp sesame oil until cooked through.
  • Add garlic, red bell pepper, carrots, and water chestnuts; cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in teriyaki glaze and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve mixture in lettuce leaves, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in teriyaki glaze for 30 minutes before cooking.
