This Sweet Chili Chicken is a deliciously sticky and flavorful dish that's perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1.5 to 2 pounds chicken fillets
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ΒΌ cup cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • rice or noodles for serving

Instructions 

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for 30 minutes.
  • Dredge marinated chicken in cornstarch and heat oil in a skillet.
  • Cook chicken until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  • Simmer remaining marinade in the skillet, then add chicken back to coat.
  • Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer or add more spices to the marinade.
