Juicy, flavorful chicken thighs marinated in sweet chili sauce and cooked to perfection in the air fryer, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 0.5 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish
  • to taste Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  • Combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper in a large bowl to make the marinade.
  • Add chicken thighs to the marinade, coat thoroughly, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle olive oil over marinated chicken and place in air fryer basket skin side up. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then drizzle extra sweet chili sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
