Delicious and easy-to-make sticky chicken bowls featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and flavorful sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Rice

  • 2 cups uncooked rice

Vegetables

  • 2 heads broccoli, chopped

Chicken

  • 3 large chicken breasts

Sauces & Oils

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp arrowroot powder (mixed with 2 tbsp water to make slurry)
  • 0.5 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2-3 tbsp water (for thinning mayo)

Toppings

  • to taste sesame seeds (for topping)

Instructions 

  • Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  • Chop broccoli into small florets and set aside.
  • Slice chicken into strips, season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, and oregano. Cook in oil until golden and cooked through. Steam or sauté broccoli until tender.
  • Mix sauce ingredients, pour into skillet with chicken, and simmer until thickened. Prepare spicy mayo by mixing mayo, sriracha, and water.
  • Assemble bowls with rice, chicken, broccoli, drizzle spicy mayo, and top with sesame seeds.

Notes

Adjust spice levels and toppings to taste for best results.
