  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.75 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (ensure it’s Halal-compliant)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • to taste Green onions, sliced
  • to taste Sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, ginger powder, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the shrimp until golden and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the sauce mixture to the pan and toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
