Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 0.25 cup gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish
  • to taste Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  • Mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and salt to make the marinade.
  • Add chicken to marinade, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat, remove chicken from marinade, and cook 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through and charred.
  • Rest chicken for 5 minutes, then slice into strips, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve.

Notes

Marinate the chicken longer for more flavor, and serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
