Slow Cooker Honey Sriracha Chicken

A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors, cooked to tender perfection in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

Sauces and liquids

  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup sriracha sauce

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • 2 teaspoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions green onions (minced)

Instructions 

  • Add soy sauce, honey, and sriracha to a slow cooker. Whisk the ingredients together.
  • Add chicken to the slow cooker and toss to coat. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours.
  • When chicken reaches 165ºF, remove and set aside. Whisk cornstarch into the sauce to thicken.
  • Cut chicken into ½-inch cubes, add back to the slow cooker, and toss to coat.
  • Serve over rice, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
