A quick and flavorful one-pot dish combining spicy honey garlic sauce with tender chicken and pasta, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz penne or fusilli pasta

Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)

Sauce and Oil

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Broth and Vegetables

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers, thinly sliced (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Seasonings and Garnish

  • to taste salt and black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped

  • optional parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  • Sauté the chicken in olive oil over medium heat until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook minced garlic for 1 minute. Add honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes, stirring well.
  • Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, add pasta, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until pasta is tender.
  • Add bell peppers and broccoli, cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp. Return chicken to skillet and stir to coat.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
