Instructions
Melt butter, cook vegetables with salt and pepper for 8 minutes.
Cut biscuits into 6 pieces, toss in flour.
Add garlic, seasonings, then stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
Pour broth to deglaze, add remaining broth, chicken, cream, peas, and bay leaves. Simmer.
Add biscuit pieces on top, cover, and simmer 15 minutes until cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
Ensure dumplings are cooked through by testing with a toothpick.
