These crispy lemon pepper chicken wings are a perfect blend of zesty and savory flavors, making them an ideal appetizer or game day snack.

Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with foil and a wire rack.
  • Toss chicken wings with baking powder and salt until coated.
  • Arrange wings on the rack and bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake for another 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  • Mix melted butter, lemon pepper seasoning, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Toss baked wings in the lemon pepper mixture until coated.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure wings are well spaced on the rack while baking.
