Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 lemons lemon juice
  • 1 lemon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Garnish

  • for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, honey, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  • Arrange chicken in a baking dish, pour marinade over, and bake for 35-40 minutes until skin is crispy and internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C). Broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken longer for more flavor, and keep an eye during broiling to prevent burning.
