Delicious tender chicken bites coated in a sweet and savory honey soy garlic sauce, perfect served over rice.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 500 grams Boneless skinless chicken breast (cut into ¾ pieces)
  • 0.25 cup Plain Flour (All purpose flour)
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced about 3 medium cloves)
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce

Side

  • 2 cups Cooked rice (sliced green onion, shallot, thai basil leaves, and sesame seeds for garnishing)

Instructions 

  • Add chicken and flour to a bowl and toss to coat.
  • Whisk honey, water, and soy sauce together and set aside.
  • Cook chicken in a hot skillet for 6-8 minutes, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Pour the honey soy mixture into the skillet, stirring to coat chicken, and cook until bubbling and thickened.
  • Serve immediately over rice with garnishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with sliced green onion, shallot, Thai basil leaves, or sesame seeds.
