Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe

A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish glazed with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste Salt and black pepper (to season)
  • cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard (optional) (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add butter and garlic; sauté 30 seconds. Stir in mustard, honey, optional grain mustard, and vinegar.
  • Reduce heat and simmer sauce 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Return chicken to pan, coat with sauce, and cook 2–3 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in some of the sauce before cooking.
