  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.33 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime zest
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 whole lime, cut into wedges (for serving)

Instructions 

  • Whisk lime juice, lime zest, honey, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  • Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat and oil lightly.
  • Remove chicken from marinade, discard excess, and cook 6-8 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Rest chicken for 5 minutes, then serve garnished with cilantro and lime wedges.
