Enjoy a flavorful grilled chicken marinated in a zesty honey lemon basil sauce, perfect for a fresh and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 0.25 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 piece Lemon Zest
  • 0.25 cup Lemon Juice, fresh
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal Chicken Seasoning
  • 6 pieces Chicken (boneless chicken thighs)
  • 0.25 cup Basil, chiffonade, fresh

Instructions 

  • Whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, and Montreal seasoning; place in a large glass dish.
  • Remove a couple of tablespoons of marinade to a small bowl.
  • Add chicken thighs to the marinade, turn to coat, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat and cook chicken for 4-6 minutes per side, basting with the reserved marinade.
  • Remove chicken, tent with foil, and let rest for 3-5 minutes. Serve topped with fresh basil.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
