A flavorful and spicy chicken dish with a sweet honey glaze, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 500 gram chicken breasts (cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 4.5 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoon water or chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon spring onion greens chopped
  • 2 tablespoon toasted peanuts crushed

Instructions 

  • Toss chicken cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  • Heat peanut oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, red chili flakes, water, and sesame oil.
  • Pour sauce into the pan with cooked chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and crushed peanuts before serving.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of sriracha and chili flakes.
