Ingredients

For the BBQ Chicken

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce (use your favorite brand)
  • 0.125 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

For the Flatbread Base

  • 4 flatbreads flatbreads or naan breads
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Toppings

  • 0.5 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley

Optional Drizzle

  • 0.25 cup ranch dressing or Greek yogurt ranch sauce

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  • Place flatbreads on the baking sheet, sprinkle with cheeses, then distribute chicken mixture over the cheese.
  • Add sliced red onion and cherry tomatoes, then bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts and edges are crisp.
  • Garnish with cilantro or parsley, drizzle with ranch or yogurt sauce if desired, then slice and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a dash of hot sauce or additional herbs.
