Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Vegetables

  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz egg noodles (or pasta of choice)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet; sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  • Add ground beef; cook until browned, breaking it up.
  • Stir in mushrooms, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; cook until mushrooms are soft.
  • Sprinkle flour; stir and gradually add beef broth until smooth.
  • Reduce heat; mix in sour cream and simmer until thickened.
  • Toss in cooked pasta or serve separately; garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with fresh parsley.
