Juicy and flavorful grilled chicken tenders marinated with spices and served with a fresh herb garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 10-12 pieces chicken tenders (about 1.5 lb or 630 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 lemon juice of lemon (½ lemon)
  • a handful fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 lemon zest of lemon (about 1 teaspoon)
  • 0.5 lemon additional lemon juice (about 1.5 tablespoons)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.33 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions 

  • Marinate chicken tenders with spices, olive oil, and lemon juice for at least an hour.
  • Preheat grill or broiler to medium-high heat.
  • Grill tenders for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through and grill marks appear.
  • Mix parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and honey to make the sauce.
  • Serve tenders with herb garlic sauce drizzled on top or on the side.

Notes

Marinate for better flavor, and ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
