Ingredients

Marinade

  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano (or 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Garnish

  • to taste lemon slices for garnish
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  • Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Marinate chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken in a baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
