0.5cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper. Sear thighs skin-side down in skillet with olive oil and 2 tbsp butter for 6-8 mins until golden. Flip and sear 2-3 mins. Remove and set aside.
Mix Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mince garlic cloves.
Add remaining butter to skillet, cook garlic 60 seconds. Return chicken, spoon garlic-butter over, sprinkle Parmesan-herb mixture, then transfer skillet to oven. Bake 15-18 mins until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C). Rest 5 mins, garnish with parsley.
Notes
Ensure the skin is crispy by patting the chicken dry and not moving it during searing.
