Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (or vinegar)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional for pan-searing)

Instructions 

  • Pound chicken to even thickness.
  • Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and paprika to make marinade.
  • Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook chicken in a skillet with butter or oil for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.
  • Rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon before serving.
