A delicious and elegant cheese log coated with chopped nuts and herbs, perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz goat cheese (or substitute with more cream cheese)
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mixed chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped herbs (for garnish in coating)

Instructions 

  • Mix cream cheese and goat cheese until smooth.
  • Stir in garlic, herbs, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into a log using plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
  • Mix chopped nuts with chopped herbs on a plate.
  • Unwrap the cheese log and roll in the nut mixture to coat.
  • Serve with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

For a firmer log, refrigerate longer before serving.
