  • 500 g sirloin steak
  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Sauté the potatoes in butter and olive oil until golden and fork-tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Sear the steak bites in the same pan for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Make the garlic butter sauce by adding minced garlic to the remaining butter in the skillet.
  • Toss the steak bites and potatoes in the garlic butter until well coated.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the steak marinate in garlic and herbs for an hour before cooking.
