Instructions
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then brown both sides in a hot oven-safe pan. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, cook the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic until fragrant and tender.
Add butter, lemon slices, and stock powder. Stir, then add rice to coat in buttery flavor.
Nestle the chicken on top, pour boiling water, cover, and bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
Notes
Ensure the chicken is cooked through before serving. Feel free to add herbs for extra flavor.
