Instructions
Whisk together buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour.
Dredge chicken in flour and cornstarch mixture, pressing to stick.
Fry chicken in hot oil for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Make buffalo sauce by melting butter and stirring in hot sauce, honey, and garlic powder.
Coat fried chicken in buffalo sauce. Toast buns, spread dressing, and assemble with lettuce, tomato, chicken, and pickles.
Notes
For extra crunch, double dredge the chicken in the flour mixture.
