A quick and flavorful baked chicken and rice dish seasoned with ranch, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine chicken, ranch mix, rice, and broth in a baking dish; stir well.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  • Uncover, sprinkle cheese if using, and bake 5 more minutes.
  • Rest for 5 minutes, then fluff and serve.

Notes

Using shredded cheddar cheese adds extra flavor, but it's optional.
