A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and savory sauces, ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Noodles

  • 8 oz dried noodles (e.g., egg or rice noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable or sesame oil

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot carrot, julienned or thinly sliced
  • 3 green onions green onions, sliced
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional) (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional) (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional) (for heat)

Garnish

Instructions 

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then rinse under cold water and set aside.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, ginger, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Cook chicken with salt and pepper until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add vegetables and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return chicken and noodles to the pan. Pour sauce over and toss to combine, cooking 1-2 minutes until heated through. Stir in green onions and cook 30 seconds. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
