Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb chicken tenders

Breading

  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Cooking spray or vegetable oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray.
  • Mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in one bowl. Beat eggs in another. Place crushed cornflakes in a third bowl.
  • Coat each chicken tender in flour mixture, dip in eggs, then roll in crushed cornflakes, pressing to adhere.
  • Arrange tenders on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart. Lightly spray or drizzle with oil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, press cornflakes firmly onto the chicken.
