A delicious and easy crockpot recipe featuring tender chicken in a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 lb chicken breast (about 4, 6 oz. pieces)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2-3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • 4 Tbsp cold water (for slurry)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, oregano, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Whisk honey, dijon mustard, garlic, and melted butter; pour over chicken in crockpot.
  • Cook on LOW for about 3 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Shred chicken and stir in heavy cream 30 minutes before serving.
  • Mix cornstarch with cold water, stir into sauce, and cook on low until thickened.
  • Serve once sauce reaches desired thickness.
