Instructions
Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger in oil until golden, then add spices and cook until fragrant. Stir in tomatoes and transfer to slow cooker.
Prepare chicken by trimming fat, then add to slow cooker, coating in sauce. Cook on high for 2.5–4 hours or low for 4–6 hours until cooked through.
Remove chicken, chop into bite-sized pieces, then blend sauce until smooth. Return to slow cooker.
Stir in butter and heavy cream, then add chicken back to the sauce. Mix in cilantro and serve with rice and naan.
Notes
For best flavor, let the sauce simmer for a few minutes after blending.
