  • wood chips for smoking (hickory or applewood)
  • your favorite wing sauce for tossing (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat smoker to 225°F (107°C) and prepare wood chips.
  • Mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Toss chicken wings in the spice mixture until coated.
  • Smoke wings for 2 hours at 225°F (107°C), then increase to 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes.
  • Let wings rest, then toss in sauce or serve plain.
  • Serve immediately with dipping sauces.
