Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce or bbq sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
  • Pat chicken wings dry and toss with seasonings until coated.
  • Arrange wings on the rack and bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 20–25 minutes.
  • For sauced wings, mix sauce with melted butter and toss hot wings in the mixture.
  • Serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and dressing.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure wings are very dry before seasoning.
