A delicious and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and flavorful basil pesto, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and reserve some cooking water.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, coat with flour, then cook in oil until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onions in butter until translucent, add garlic, then deglaze with chicken broth. Stir in pesto, half and half, and garlic powder; simmer briefly.
Return chicken to skillet, add Parmesan, and toss with cooked pasta. Add reserved water if needed for creaminess. Garnish with basil if desired.
Notes
Use fresh basil for garnish to enhance flavor.
