A comforting and easy-to-make chicken dish simmered in a creamy sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz can)
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook chicken in butter or oil for 3-4 minutes per side; set aside.
  • In the same pan, add soup, broth, and cream; simmer 2-3 minutes.
  • Return chicken to pan, cover, and simmer 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  • If using cheese, sprinkle on top and melt for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm over rice, pasta, or potatoes.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use heavy cream and shredded cheese.
