Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 15-ounce jar alfredo sauce
  • 4 ounces baby spinach (about 4 large handfuls)
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Cook and drain the penne pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
  • Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté in olive oil until cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Stir in Alfredo sauce and spinach; cook until spinach wilts.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh herbs.
