Enjoy a flavorful and comforting chicken rice bowl topped with a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Instructions 

  • Rinse rice until water runs clear. Cook 1 cup rice with 2 cups water for 18-20 minutes, then let rest.
  • Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper. Cook in oil over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Rest and slice.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add soy sauce and heavy cream, simmer for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Return sliced chicken to the skillet to soak up the sauce. Serve over rice, garnished as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with chopped parsley or steamed vegetables.
