Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 lb Springer mountain farms chicken breast

Pasta

  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta

Seasonings & Spices

  • 1.5 tsp paprika (OliveNation)
  • 1.5 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (OliveNation)
  • 0.5 tsp thyme
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Dairy & Broth

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots ((use code 15GOLDENGK for 15% off) )
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 0.25 cup pasta water

Additional Seasonings

  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions 

  • Boil pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Mix seasonings; season chicken and sear in olive oil for 5 minutes per side.
  • Cook chicken through, then remove and set aside.
  • Melt butter, add shallots, garlic, Italian seasoning, then stir in flour. Pour in broth and cream, whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in Parmesan, cook until thickened, then toss with pasta and sliced chicken. Serve.

Notes

Use fresh Parmesan for best flavor. Adjust pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.
