Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a sheet pan with parchment.
Cook onion and peppers in olive oil until softened, then add garlic and cilantro and cook 1 minute.
Add chicken, bouillon, tomato paste, onion and garlic powders, salt, and water; simmer until liquid evaporates, about 5-8 minutes.
Fill each dough round with ⅓ cup of filling, fold, seal edges with egg wash, then brush with remaining egg and bake 35 minutes until golden.
Notes
Ensure the filling is not too dry before sealing the empanadas.
