A comforting baked chicken and rice casserole made with creamy soups and flavorful spices, perfect for a hearty family meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 large chicken breasts (cut into 1" cubes (uncooked))

Canned Soups

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (10.5 oz)

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper

Grains and Liquids

  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or long grain)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup pats of butter

Instructions 

  • Cook 2 cups of rice and preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13 pan.
  • Mix uncooked chicken, soups, spices, cooked rice, and chicken broth in a bowl.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Dot with pats of butter on top.
  • Bake for 60 minutes until bubbly and cooked through.

Notes

Ensure rice is cooked before mixing for best texture.
