A creamy, cheesy chicken casserole that's easy to prepare and perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded or cubed

Dairy

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Other ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Optional garnish

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or skillet.
  • Mix cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Add cooked chicken and fold in 1.5 cups of cheddar and all Parmesan cheese.
  • Transfer to dish, top with remaining cheddar, drizzle with melted butter, and bake 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Rest 5 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle paprika or Italian seasoning on top before baking.
