A flavorful and colorful dish featuring spicy Cajun chicken paired with sautéed bell peppers and onions.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Spices

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

Oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • for garnish Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden.
  • Remove chicken and let rest; in the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Slice the chicken and combine with vegetables, heat through for 1-2 minutes, then garnish with parsley.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
