Instructions
Season chicken wings with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, and oregano.
Pour buttermilk over seasoned wings and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Mix flour with spices to create coating. Dredge wings in flour, dip in buttermilk, then coat again in flour.
Heat oil to 325°F (160°C). Fry wings for 7-8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Rest on wire rack.
Mix honey with cayenne. Toss fried wings in hot honey or drizzle over them. Serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure oil temperature is maintained for crispy wings. Adjust cooking time if needed.
