3piecesboneless skinless chicken breasts, (cut into vertical strips)

3cupsbuttermilk
¼cupbuffalo sauce
Dry Coatings
4cupsall-purpose flour
¼cupscornstarch
1teaspoonkosher salt
2cupspanko breading
Egg Wash
2largeeggs, (room temperature)
1teaspoonwater
Additional Buffalo Sauce
2cupsbuffalo sauce
Oil
for fryingoil, (for frying)
Instructions
Marinate chicken strips in buttermilk and buffalo sauce for 30 minutes.
Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then dip in egg wash, and coat with panko breading.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Fry chicken tenders until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Toss cooked tenders in additional buffalo sauce and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, double coat the chicken in flour and panko.
