These flavorful buffalo chicken sliders are perfect for parties, combining spicy chicken, creamy coleslaw, and soft buns for an irresistible appetizer.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded (from about 1 lb boneless breasts or thighs, or 1 rotisserie chicken)
  • 3/4 cup buffalo-style hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)
  • 2 cups prepared creamy coleslaw
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing (for serving)

Instructions 

  • If cooking chicken, simmer in water for 15-20 mins, then shred. For rotisserie, shred and discard skin.
  • Mix shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, 2 tbsp melted butter, and garlic powder. Let sit 5 mins.
  • Slice buns horizontally, place bottom on baking sheet, brush with melted butter.
  • Spread buffalo chicken over bottom, add coleslaw, then top with buns. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 13-15 mins.
  • Remove from oven, slice into individual sliders, serve with dressing on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with additional blue cheese or ranch dressing.
