Delicious and easy-to-make BBQ chicken sliders perfect for any gathering or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pre-cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce, plus extra for serving
  • 12 slider buns slider buns
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese, cut in half
  • 12 dill pickle slices dill pickle slices, optional
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking dish with parchment.
  • Mix shredded chicken with 1 cup BBQ sauce; microwave until warm.
  • Place slider buns in dish, spoon chicken mixture on bottom halves.
  • Add onion, cheese, and pickles; top with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
  • Cover with top buns, brush with butter mixture, and bake 10-15 minutes until golden and cheese melts.

Notes

For extra flavor, add more BBQ sauce or pickles as desired.
