Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings split at joints, tips removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  • Toss wings in the marinade until evenly coated. Arrange on the wire rack in a single layer.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway. Broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  • Let wings rest briefly, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil wings for the last few minutes of baking.
