Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix lemon zest, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne to make the lemon pepper seasoning.
Toss chicken wings with lemon zest mixture, then drizzle with olive oil and toss again. Arrange on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
Mix lemon juice and melted butter to prepare lemon butter. Brush over wings and bake for 5-10 minutes.
Let wings cool briefly, then serve with lemon wedges.
