Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1.5 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl until combined.
  • Marinate chicken in a sealed bag for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer chicken and marinade to a baking dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then baste with juices.
  • Broil for 3-8 minutes until golden and cooked through (internal temp 145°F).
  • Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
